We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic team member to join us as Outlet Staff. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth kitchen operations and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

Kitchen Operations

  • Assist in daily food preparation according to company SOPs
  • Be trained and proficient in all kitchen stations, including gunkan, side dishes, kaburi, and grilled items
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times
  • Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines
  • Perform dishwashing duties as required
  • Participate in scheduled monthly outlet cleaning sessions
  • Follow all reasonable instructions from the Outlet Manager, management, or designated supervisor

Customer Service & Front of House Duties

  • Provide warm, courteous, and efficient food & beverage service to customers
  • Follow the 5-step customer service standard:
  1. Greetings & Hosting – Welcome guests and assist with seating
  2. Pre-Dining Introduction – Share current promotions, upselling of miso soup and drinks
  3. Table Management – Ensure a smooth dining experience
  4. Billing & Cashiering – Process payments accurately and efficiently
  5. Table Setup & Clearance – Maintain a clean and organized dining area
  • Handle closing duties, including dishwashing and thorough cleaning of service stations.
  • Perform belt and table cleaning, clear used plates, and ensure cleanliness of the service/dining floor
  • Assist with general cleaning tasks during non-peak hours as instructed by the Manager on Duty or designated supervisor

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude, proactive mindent and a strong eagerness to learn
  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks and long hours of standing
  • Willingness to work rotating shits, weekends and Public Holidays
  • Preferably with valid food hygiene certificate
  • Candidates without working experience or no food hygiene certificate are also welcome as training will be provided.
  • Part-Time positions are available too
