What you will be working on
As an Investigation Officer, you will be responsible for conducting thorough and impartial investigations into various incidents or violations.
In this role, you will:
- Take enforcement / prosecution actions to recover employees' CPF contributions from employers
- Interview and record statements from employers and employees to determine compliance with the provisions of the Central Provident Fund Act
- Follow up on reports lodged by employees on late payment of CPF contributions
- Perform visits to employees' workplace to facilitate investigation
What we are looking for

- Relevant experience in investigative work, compliance, enforcement, or related functions.
- Able to gather, verify, and interpret information to support case findings.
- Skilled in preparing clear and well-structured reports for decision-making.
- Familiar with data analytics and automation tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, Python) is an advantage.
- Good analytical skills; meticulous in reviewing figures, records, and evidence.
- Communicates effectively, both in writing and speaking.
- Works well independently and collaborates effectively in a team.
- Adaptable and able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and methodical, ensuring accuracy and fairness in case handling.
- Proactive problem-solver with a good sense of integrity and accountability.
The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences.
Position is on a 1-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board with an option to renew, contingent upon confirmation and subject to organisational needs. Additionally, there is potential for emplacement into a permanent position.
