We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Investigative Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating allegations of child abuse and neglect, providing support services to affected families, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
About the Role:
The Investigative Officer will work within our Child Protective Service team, which is dedicated to safeguarding the safety and well-being of children and young persons in Singapore. As part of this role, you will investigate alleged cases of child abuse and neglect, provide statutory intervention and supportive services to affected families, and work closely with various stakeholders to keep children safe from harm.
- Conduct thorough investigations into allegations of child abuse and neglect
- Provide case management services for affected families, including supportive interventions and referrals to relevant services
- Collaborate with public and people sectors to provide services for children who are in need of statutory guidance or care and protection
Key Responsibilities:
Our ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline, and experience working with vulnerable children and families or in investigative roles within social service settings. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work calmly in high-pressure situations.
