Our client is one of the leader in the banking industry, they are hiring an individual to provide support for Murex enhancements, supporting traders and front office for daily operations.
Location: Central
Contract: 12 months
Salary up to $6500
Responsibilities:
1 Drive deliverables for a workstream within the Murex Upgrade Project.
2 Support traders, sales and structurers and coordinate with relevant parties to resolve ad-hoc issues pertaining to the project
3 Review and work with business & support units to improve processes/systems to support the products/business requirements
4 Drive solutioning for the automation and digitalisation in Risk Control monitoring and reporting processes.
5 Assist in Operational Risk related activities (e.g. perform RCSA testing, prepare Operational Risk related reports.)
Requirements
1 Minimum 3 years banking experience, preferably in Treasury or Markets or Custody/Securities Services in the following areas: Product Control, Middle Office Operations & Risk is desirable.
2 Some operational risk/ regulatory and/or project management experience is a plus
3 Experience in programming and data analytics using Tableau, Python or R will be a plus
4 Good verbal and written communications and comfortable with presentations
5 Collaborative personality reflecting energy & enthusiasm with an ability to work with multiple stakeholders across the bank and deal with different personalities
6 Independent self-starter with sound organisational skills and ability to be disciplined with planning and delivering deadlines
7 Graduate degree from a recognised University with, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering/IT majors preferable but not essential
