Roles & Responsibilities

About the Role:

We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the development and optimisation of our global payments capabilities. You will be responsible for scaling our fiat payment channels, building partnerships with banks, PSPs, FX providers, and liquidity partners, and ensuring smooth, compliant transaction flows across multiple markets.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience in cross-border payments, strong technical integration skills, and proven success in launching and enhancing payment products in diverse regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities:


• Develop and execute product strategy for fiat and cross-border payment solutions, including onboarding of banks, PSPs, FX providers, and settlement partners.


• Oversee API-driven integration of payment infrastructure, from requirements gathering to testing, deployment, and optimisation.


• Improve transaction success rates by refining KYC/KYB processes, risk controls, dispute handling, and fee structures.


• Partner with compliance, legal, and operations teams to ensure full alignment with licensing, tax, and regulatory requirements in each market.


• Manage relationships with external vendors and payment partners, negotiating terms and overseeing service delivery.


• Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities in cross-border payments and remittances.


• Support business expansion into emerging markets by designing scalable payment flows and settlement processes.

Requirements:


• Minimum 5 years in product management, payment operations, or related roles, with substantial experience in cross-border payments.


• At least a master's degree in any discipline from a recognized, top-tier university


• Proven track record in onboarding and managing partnerships with banks, PSPs, FX providers, and liquidity partners.


• Strong technical understanding of payment system architecture, API integrations, and backend processes.


• In-depth knowledge of KYC/KYB, AML controls, and fraud management in a payments context.


• Experience working across multiple regulatory jurisdictions, including entity setup and licensing processes.


• Proficiency in advanced written and spoken business Mandarin to review Chinese language user interfaces, product mockups, and documentation in the relevant language for market localisation. Additional language proficiency is a plus.


• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.


• Able to work effectively across time zones and in fast-changing market environments.


• Experience launching payment products in emerging markets (Africa, SEA, LATAM).


• Familiarity with multi-currency settlement and FX optimisation.
