Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage procurement of medical and non-medical equipment and furniture.
  • Lead user workgroups to gather requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Monitor budgets and ensure procurement stays within financial limits.
  • Prepare and review equipment specifications for tenders.
  • Evaluate and recommend vendors based on technical criteria.
  • Support tender committees during evaluations.
  • Stay updated on healthcare planning trends and issues.
  • Assist other campus planning team members as needed.
  • Support Group Biomedical Engineering (BME) functions and daily operations.
  • Liaise with external contractors and manage service/tender issues.
  • Provide technical advice to users and management.
  • Carry out any additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in Electronics or relevant Engineering field
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in medical equipment maintenance is preferred
  • Experience in healthcare institutions
