You will stay updated on travel packages, destinations, and industry trends to assist clients in planning their ideal trips. Your goal is to provide top-notch service while ensuring seamless and enjoyable travel experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Handle customer inquiries from walk-ins, emails and phone calls.
  • Plan and arrange flights, hotels, rental cars, tours, and other travel-related services.
  • Understand customers' travel preferences and provide recommendations on fares, schedules, and destinations.
  • Prepare cost estimates and quotations for travel services.
  • Offer guidance on local weather, customs, attractions, and visa requirements.
  • Make alternative booking arrangements in case of changes before or during travel.
  • Manage flight and hotel bookings, issue travel-related documents, and process payments.
  • Utilize promotional techniques and materials to market travel packages and services.
  • Provide exceptional customer service from inquiry to post-trip support, including handling complaints and refunds.
  • Meet sales and profit targets.
  • Prepare reports and handle administrative tasks related to travel sales.

Requirement

  • Passion for travel, especially in promoting Japan as a travel destination.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, with knowledge of airfares and reservations.
  • Experience with the Amadeus GDS system and/or knowledge of Japan as a travel destination is a strong advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and partners.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a proactive and energetic attitude.
  • Willing to work on Saturdays and public holidays (5-day work week inclusive of Saturday).
  • Ability to travel occasionally for tour-leading assignments / familiarization work trips.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Amadeus Reservation System, GDS, Reservation Management
