As a Regional Partnerships Associateat SSIA, you will be at the heart of Singapore's international semiconductor engagements, helping local companies navigate new markets, form meaningful cross border partnerships, and align with global policy and innovation trends.

This role is not about transactional business development. It is about building bridges between nations, unlocking doors to emerging opportunities, and empowering our companies to compete and collaborate on the world stage. You will engage directly with embassies, trade agencies, government partners, and international organisations to drive meaningful outcomes that matter to Singapore's semiconductor ecosystem.

Reporting to the Business Development and Partnerships Manager, you will play a key role in advancing SSIA's mission to build a future ready, globally connected industry, one partnership at a time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support engagements with foreign governments, trade promotion agencies and partners to expand overseas opportunities for SSIA members. This includes preparing pre-meeting briefs (where necessary), participating in discussions, and tracking action items.
• Support engagements with SSIA members to understand their regional expansion interests and connect them to relevant international opportunities, including introductions to trade offices, ecosystem enablers, and potential collaborators in key markets.
• Drive content and member engagement effortsby developing collaterals, translating insights (e.g. from the Members' Pulse Survey) into tailored outreach initiatives, and supporting the implementation of programmes that deepen member participation in SSIA's internationalisation initiatives.
• Maintain an updated list of relevant international platforms, missions, and other relevant initiatives to support member internationalisation efforts.
• Coordinate international missionsand regionalbusiness outreach programs
• Contribute to SSIA's strategic initiatives around workforce development, local ecosystem growth, and sustainability
• Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking sessions as part of SSIA's representation

Who We're Looking For:

• 2 to 3 years of experience in business development, public policy, industry engagement, international relations, or consulting
• Passionate fresh graduates with strong interest in the industry are also encouraged to apply
• Strong writing and communication skills are a must, to support communication with senior industry executives and international stakeholders
• Curious and open minded, with a genuine interest in technology and global issues
• Able to work independently in a fast paced environment while being a strong team player
• A go getter who thrives in ambiguity, adapts quickly, and enjoys engaging with people from diverse backgrounds
• Passionate about making a difference and being part of something bigger than themselves
