Responsibilities
  • Handle day to day food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food
  • Ensure that all prepared food items are safe and in good quality and standards
  • Ensure that quality culinary dishes are served on schedule efficiently
  • Manage amounts and costs of required supplies, such as food and ingredients
  • Ensure that supplies, equipment, and work areas are clean and properly maintain
  • Coordinate planning, budgeting, and purchasing for all the food operations
  • Maintain good personal hygiene as well as work safety standards in the workplace; carrying out proposals made by Safety Officer
  • Expected to suggest or modify and create new menus as needed
  • Monitor opening and closing duties
  • Execute any other duties as requested by the management
Requirements
  • Diploma in Culinary or equivalent certificate with excellent culinary skills
  • Minimum 2 years in similar capacity or as Sous Chef
  • Innovative, proactive and service-oriented
  • Keen interest in different type of cuisine and understanding of latest culinary concepts in a broad range of cuisines
  • Able to perform shift work and work on weekends / PH
