Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Manage insurance and claims of the captive portfolio
  • Assist Group Insurance/Risk Managers to implement group risk management solutions in the captive
  • Collaborate with brokers on renewal programme and working with brokers to finalise renewal and policy documentations on timely basis
  • Prepare and issue appropriate policy documents and invoices/closings, if required
  • Ensure all premiums booked are correct and meetspremium due date
  • Ensure claims fall within policy terms and conditions
  • Work closely with adjusters/lawyers or appointedclaims managers throughout management of claims
  • Liaise with the servicing team on premiums (including their collection), claims reserves and provisions, in line with the loss reserving and accounting policies
  • Provide reporting to the team Finance managers in line with their monthly requirements
  • Perform reporting to Board of Directors, Underwriting and Claims Committees, Group Insurance/Risk Managers on insurance/claim matters and attend to their queries

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in the insurance or broking industry, experience in the captive industry is highly preferred
  • Possession of professional insurance qualifications, E.g. ACII or ANZIIF highly preferred
  • Proficient in both English and Chinese Language (as the candidate needs to liaise with group Chinese speaking counterparties), with good writing skills and communication skills
  • Able to multi-task with good time management skills and a sense of ownership
