Job Overview

The Group Captive Insurance Manager plays a pivotal role in the effective management of the captive portfolio. This involves collaborating with brokers to develop and implement risk management strategies, preparing policy documents and invoices, and ensuring that all premiums are accurate and paid on time.

This role also entails working closely with adjusters, lawyers, or appointed claims managers throughout the claims process, as well as liaising with the servicing team on premiums, claims reserves, and provisions.

Additionally, the Group Captive Insurance Manager will provide regular reporting to the Finance team and perform reporting to the Board of Directors, Underwriting and Claims Committees, and Group Insurance/Risk Managers on insurance/claim matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with brokers to develop and implement risk management strategies.
  • Prepare policy documents and invoices.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of premium payments.
  • Work closely with adjusters, lawyers, or appointed claims managers throughout the claims process.
  • Liaise with the servicing team on premiums, claims reserves, and provisions.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in the insurance or broking industry.
  • Possession of professional insurance qualifications.
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese language.
  • Good writing and communication skills.
