Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for providing technical assistance to students and staff, ensuring smooth operation of IT systems in the school environment. This includes troubleshooting hardware/software issues, assisting with online learning platforms, managing network access, and supporting educational technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to students and staff for school devices, software, and online platforms.
  • Troubleshoot laptops, tablets, projectors, printers, and other classroom technology.
  • Assist students with Wi-Fi connectivity, VPN access, email access, and school portals.
  • Support learning management systems (LMS) and online tools like Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, etc.
  • Perform basic network troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff.
  • Set up and maintain computer labs, smartboards, and AV equipment.
  • Assist with user account management, password resets, and security protocols.
  • Provide training and guidance to students on IT best practices and cybersecurity awareness.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure timely updates.
  • Collaborate with teachers and administrators to integrate technology into the learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • On job training provided, applicants with limited industry experience are welcome to apply.
  • Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and mobile device management.
  • Familiarity with school-related software and online learning platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with students, teachers, and staff in a friendly and patient manner.
  • Basic networking knowledge (Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls) is a plus.
