HR Executive

The Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) is a not-for-profit organisation established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in 2024 to harness technology and foster innovation for more efficient, resilient, and inclusive financial ecosystems through global partnerships. GFTN organises convening forums, offers advisory services on innovation ecosystems, provides access to transformative digital platforms, and invest in technology startups with the potential for growth and positive social impact through its venture fund.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Executive to support the HR Manager in managing day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring seamless processes in onboarding, offboarding, work pass applications, and other HR-related tasks. You will also play a key role in planning and executing company-wide events while contributing to the development and implementation of HR initiatives.

Responsibilities

Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Managing the full spectrum of HR operations from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process, including preparation of offer letters, employment agreements, and induction programs for new hires.
  • Handle offboarding procedures, including exit interviews, clearance processes, and final settlements.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation, ensuring compliance with Company policies and regulatory requirements.

Work Pass Management

  • Support work pass applications, renewals, cancellations, and appeals in compliance with local regulations.
  • Monitor work pass expiry dates and ensure timely renewals to avoid disruptions.

HR Operations & Administration

  • Assist in leave management and employee benefits.
  • Manage and update HR systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Address employee queries and provide support on HR-related matters.

Company-Wide Events

  • Plan, organise, and execute Company events such as team-building activities, town halls, and other employee engagement programs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of events.

HR Support to Manager

  • Support the implementation of HR projects and initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and organisational efficiency.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee relations matters, escalating issues to the HR Manager when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in HR operations, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, especially work pass applications and related processes.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
