As we continue to grow and expand our influence, we are seeking a driven and strategic-minded individual, who is passionate in creating impact and be part of a team re-shaping the global furniture industry, to join us as Operations Strategy Senior Manager.
This role offers a unique opportunity to help streamline company-wide operations across functions (such as merchandising, logistics, marketing, sales, HR, finance, etc.) and align them with our mid/long term strategic goals. It will contribute to Castlery’s success by ensuring operational efficiency, performance monitoring, financial success, and risk management.
You will be making impact through the below areas (but the sky is the limit):
- Strategic Alignment: Work closely with key stakeholders to align operations with the company’s strategic goals, ensuring that all activities contribute to the overall success of the organisation.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish company-wide level 1/2/3 metrics and develop monitoring mechanisms to track process, identify areas of improvement, and make data-driven decisions. Facilitate the quarterly business reviews. Bring in cross-functional perspectives into performance monitoring and problem solving.
- Streamlining Operations: Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to foster end-to-end thinking, break silos, streamline cross-functional processes, and gradually increase company-wide operational excellence.
- Drive Change: where required the Operations Strategy Team will lead and manage strategic change initiatives and, through the process, enhance our culture of customer centricity, bias for action, dive deep and innovation (learn and be curious) within the organisation.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with senior managers across Castlery to understand their needs, address challenges, fulfil talent gaps, and develop solutions that drive operational excellence.
What you’ll need:
- Superior analytical capabilities, able to deep dive into topics/problems and understand root causes, with solid data validation.
- Highly curious and enjoys understanding the end-to-end of a topic, including the operational details.
- Proven experience and capability in managing multiple projects across a wide variety of functional business problems, allocating resources, and collaborating across teams within tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a clear communicator across written and verbal communication; able to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across functions at all levels of experience.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and identifying what may be needed to define clarity.
- Preferably has 5 years of more work experience as a strategy advisor or management consultant in top-tier strategy consulting firm or high growth startup or venture capital firm.
