MTBM Operator

Responsibilities:

• Assist in assembling and disassembling the MTBM during mobilization and demobilization.
• Test all utility connections of the MTBM.
• Monitor alignment and grade, ensuring they stay within acceptable limits.
• Keep accurate records of jacking operations as required.
• Handle daily maintenance and routine repairs of the MTBM.
• Communicate the status of equipment and tunneling to shift operators for smooth operations.

Requirements:

• Must be physically fit to work in underground and confined spaces and be comfortable with climbing and crawling.
• Requires knowledge and experience in mechanics, hydraulics, and electronics to effectively monitor and analyze systems.
• Should have a proactive approach to ensure operational success.
• Must understand the importance of equipment safety.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record are required for potential candidates.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Tunnelling industry with MTBM.
• Sufficient knowledge on handling TBM operation within given working parameters.
• Experience with TBM machine guidance systems and operating TBM under variable ground condition.
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering/Civil Engineering
