MTBM Supervisor

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Execution and Oversight:

• Oversee microtunnelling operations, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and compliance with JGL's procedures.
• Manage the setup and operation of microtunnelling boring machines (MTBM).
• Generate preconstruction documents such as Method Statements and ITPs.
• Track project progress, make necessary adjustments, and address on-site challenges promptly.
• Support geotechnical analysis and review soil investigation reports to identify risks.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Prepare technical reports, as-built records, and project summaries.
• Participate in risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in microtunnelling, trenchless technology, or related underground construction.
• Strong understanding of microtunnelling boring machines (MTBM), guidance systems, and pertinent equipment.
• Familiarity with geotechnical investigations.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
