Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and dynamic individual to join our team as an IT Project Consultant for our client to oversee the Communications systems, network infrastructure and facilities, and maintain

the operations of WiFi, Video Conference (VC) and Audio-Visual (AV) Systems. The ideal candidate will require a strong background in IT project management, network administration and AV technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

Manage IT projects, such as technology refresh, upgrades and enhancements of LAN/WiFi networks, AV systems and VC systems.

Develop project plans, timelines and budgets, ensuring successful project delivery.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to meet project objectives.

WiFi Network Management:

Plan, implement, and maintain a robust WiFi network infrastructure across the campus.

Conduct regular assessments to ensure optimal network performance and address connectivity issues promptly.

Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement network security measures.

Stay updated on industry trends and recommend enhancements to the WiFi infrastructure.

Audio-Visual Systems Management:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of Sound and AV Systems, ensuring functionality and reliability.

Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of audiovisual equipment.

Coordinate with vendors and service providers for repairs, upgrades, and technical support.

Set up and operate sound and AV systems for campus events, meetings, and presentations.

Ensure proper documentation of AV setups, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

Video Conferencing Management:

Manage and maintain video conferencing systems, ensuring seamless communication for remote collaboration.

Provide technical support for video conferencing setups and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

Collaborate with IT and relevant departments to integrate video conferencing solutions with existing infrastructure.

Managing telecom, network infrastructure and facilities:

Oversee and manage the organization's telecom, communications systems, network infrastructure, and related facilities.

Handle access requests from telecom service providers and their contractors, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and security protocols.

Maintain, upgrade, and ensure the optimal functioning of all communications systems,

network infrastructure, and facilities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align telecom and network infrastructure strategies with organizational goals.

Develop and implement policies and procedures for the e icient operation and security of telecom and network systems.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support and guidance.

Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee service level agreements to ensure quality and cost-e ectiveness.

Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in telecom and network technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements:ns

Bachelor's degree / Polytechnic Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science,or a related field.

Certifications in networking (e.g., Cisco CCNA).

Experience in WiFi network administration and project management.

Strong knowledge in AV technologies, including sound systems and AV setups.

Experience in managing video conferencing systems.

Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security, and best practices.

Others Preferred Skills:

 Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).

 Certification in CTS-D, CTS-I, CCP and related AV certifications.

 Certifications in ITSM/ITIL

 Experience with collaboration tools such as O365, Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
