HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of human resource functions, partnering with all functional heads to drive the Club’s objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Staffing:

  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain qualified candidates.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and hiriing.

2. Training and Development:

  • Design and implement comprehensive training programs to equip staff with necessary skills.
  • Identify training needs and create development plans for employees at all levels.
  • Organize and conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.

3. Employee Relations:

  • Foster a positive and engaging work environment.
  • Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts through effective mediation and conflict resolution techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

4. Performance Management:

  • Manage and refine the performance appraisal system and process.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance-related issues.
  • Implement strategies for employee recognition and rewards.

5. Compensation and Benefits:

  • Oversee internal payroll, manage compensation and benefits programs.
  • Ensure that compensation and benefits offerings are competitive and aligned with industry standards.

6. HR Policy and Process Enhancement:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure policies are updated and compliant with current laws and regulations.
  • Effectively communicate policies and procedures to staff.

7. Manpower Budgeting:

  • Develop and maintain a manpower budget, ensuring management within approved limits.
  • Prepare monthly and annual HR reports on activities and performance.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant managerial experience.
  • Experience in the recreation or hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial relations and tripartite guidelines.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with other department heads to align HR strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
