JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking experienced Product Managers to take ownership of our suite of in-house products, elevate, rejuvenate and relaunch them as our next generation integrated best-of-suite solutions for our clients. As a Product Manager, you will have the opportunity to implement the strategic vision for the product and lead a multi-disciplinary team to design, architect, develop, test and launch the product to market.

Feeling the customer, business and market trends heartbeat is paramount. Staying up-to-date with products, plans and features of competitors is essential. Taking all these feedback iteratively, as a Product Manager you will play a key role in the conceptualization of product ideas and road map, innovating on functionality, developing differentiate features, prototyping and experimenting with early adopters and finally launching the enhancements, features, or products to market.

On a day-to-day basis, the Product Manager involves in working with diverse team members across the full spectrum of software developer services including business analysis, UI/UX, graphics design, backoffice engineering, mobile app engineering, blockchain and smart contract development. The Product Manager is constantly challenged to balance business viability, technical feasibility, customer desire and time to market to ensure that ideas become winning products.

The ideal Product Manager is a visionary who can elevate concepts, ideas and experiences, then persevere through the development process with a multi-disciplinary team to bring these visions to reality with speed and conviction. A respected individual whom the rest of the team members can openly discuss, share and exchange ideas while approachable to those seeking inspiration, mentorship and guidance. The Product Manager seeks to stimulate enthusiasm, drive and creativity to maximize the potential of every team member working on the product.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Define a clear, cohesive vision and strategy across the product line including existing and yet-to-be announced product developments. Ensure the vision, objectives and strategy is clearly understood by the various team members across the Creative, Sales and Frontend & Backend Engineering teams.
  • Conduct market research, generate product requirements, develop marketing and sales support strategies, as well as determine specifications and time-integrated plans for product introduction.
  • Constantly in touch with customers' pain points, needs and desires and scoping an innovative and viable solution.
  • Conduct requirement workshops, requirement gathering sessions, review competitor software features to draw inspiration for new features, functions or products.
  • Pitch innovative concepts and functional proposals to various stakeholders, and manage all aspects of the product design, including approvals and feedback provided.
  • Assess the competition by comparing the product line to competitors and seek opportunities to differentiate.
  • Go in-depth to develop product requirements, user stories, detailed product feature specifications and define clear and detailed process flows.
  • Working closely with the UX and UI designers to detail out the wireframes and final UI for the new features or products.
  • Turn customer pains and complex requirements into bite-sized and actionable user-stories that is feasible to be implemented and tested within a well-defined 2-week sprint. Prioritise those with the highest business value to be implemented first.
  • Execute beta and pilot programs with early-adopters and track their feedback and enhance the product features set readying it for market release.
  • Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product. Prepare product pitch points, feature benefits and sales collaterals to sales teams to enable them to engage potential customers and close sales for the product and product suite.
  • Develop key performance metrics for products. Track, monitor and analyse these metrics during beta, early-adopter stages as well as a live product.
  • Be recognized as a leader in the product line, build and maintain relationship with the clients, and business stakeholders.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to team members in terms of product management knowledge, industry knowledge, best practices, communication and documentation skills.
  • Source, seek, hire and fill skills and experience gaps among the product team members.
  • Actively conduct reviews, manage approvals, and sign off processes for product feature sets.
  • Keep abreast of current product management methodology, latest competitor offerings, and digital trends to help strengthen the team's deliverables.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computing, Engineering, Product Design or related field.
  • Over 6+ years of related work experience in the domains of product management, business analysis, system analysis, system design, process reengineering and consulting.
  • A proven track record of gap analysis, identifying market fit, innovative means of problem solving, designing software products that provide clients with solutions and bringing these products live.
  • Outstanding knowledge in product management, product lifecycle and best practices.
  • Strong conceptual abilities, clear communication of direction and solid knowledge of product management methodology.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills and quick to learn new business domains and industries.
  • Strong time management skills, ability to meet tight deadlines and successfully juggle multiple products simultaneously.
  • Excellent planning, organizational and problem-solving.
  • Strong communication skills in presenting visions or ideas to both internal and external stakeholders. Proven ability to develop product positioning and effectively communicate them.
  • Ability to influence various stakeholders and work closely with them to obtain buy-in.
  • Excellent documentation skills in drafting clear and concise requirements and specifications along with in-depth knowledge of product strategy.
  • Comfortable in working with a multi-disciplinary team that involves, process engineering, backend & frontend engineering, UI/UX, graphics design, quality assurance and IT operations.
  • Willing to roll-up one's sleeves and provide a hands-on help to the team.
  • Ability to lead, convince and inspire team members in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel to meet and work with offshore team members.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin is required to liaise with Chinese speaking clients and counterparts to understand their technical requirements.
