RESPONSIBILITIES


  • B2B and B2C media relations, event management, content development, account management and client counsel
  • Experience in B2B, Education, G2C, cause-related and sustainability sectors a bonus
  • Identify, manage and cultivate relationships with key target media and influencers to proactively collaborate on content
  • Independent and lead 70% of day-to-day communications on projects
  • Maintain clear and consistent communications between clients and team members
  • Develop integrated communications plans for clients, including brainstorming, researching, key message development and assisting in new business proposals
  • Develop and execute basic internal communications campaigns, including recommending messaging, content angles and channels for placement
  • Liaise with media to drive long-term brand communication
  • Identify industry and media narrative trends and create content on such themes
  • Coordinate with clients and other communications departments or vendors (i.e., graphic designers, brand management agencies) to develop and complete communications plans
  • Attend networking events to increase growth in new business
  • Guide Account Executives and Interns on projects


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, or related discipline
  • 4 years of industry experience in communications, Public Relations and/or Digital
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Great writing skills
