Roles & Responsibilities

  • Position: Student and Academic Services Manager (Academic Affairs)
  • Location: Pasir Panjang
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8.30pm - 6pm)
  • Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $5,000 + Performance bonus
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Industry: Education


Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain sessional academic staff teaching agreements
  • Organise and maintain academic staff contact details, network accounts and systems access
  • Assist in planning and organising Professional Development workshops for academic staff
  • Manage students’ record and update students’ status on Student Management systems to ensure accuracy of record and academic status
  • Advise students on course requirements

  • Advise students on course requirements
  • Assist in the planning of units offering for each study period for all programs
  • Support the class monitoring process to ensure they are taking place in accordance with the timetable and keep records of any changes
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned


Requirements:

  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline
  • At least 2 years of experience in managing teams in a similar capacity
  • Experience in academic administration and/or programme management, preferably in higher education would be an advantage
