Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Egg Production Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of egg production, warehouse operations, and driver management. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the egg production facility, maintaining high standards of eggs, managing warehouse activities, and overseeing the transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

- Production Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the egg production facility, including egg collection, grading, and packing.

- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and supervise production staff to ensure optimal performance and adherence to company policies and procedures.

- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of egg quality and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards. Conduct regular quality control checks.

- Warehouse Management: Oversee the storage and handling of eggs and supplies in the warehouse. Ensure inventory accuracy and proper stock rotation.

- Driver Management: Manage and coordinate the activities of drivers responsible for transporting goods. Ensure timely and safe delivery of products to customers.

- Inventory Management: Manage inventory of supplies, and equipment. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment.

- Production Planning: Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand and production targets. Monitor production metrics and adjust plans as necessary.

- Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety policies and conducting regular safety training for staff.

- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of production data, inventory levels, and animal health. Prepare regular reports for management.

- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related field.

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in egg production or poultry farming.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Knowledge of animal welfare standards and biosecurity practices.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to analyze production data and make informed decisions.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in computer skills and relevant software.
