Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:


Optimise sales and profit of the designated customer portfolio and align understanding of customer needs across the operations in his/her assigned countries. Develop plans and strategies for the customer portfolio while capturing and understanding the needs of the customer.


Reports to the Business Development Manager. The role requires close cooperation with Sales Support, the Commercial team, Sales Support, Customer Services and Credit.


The Sales strategic planning and implementation

  • Drive profitable sales growth on existing customers
  • Secure new business from existing customers and hunt for new customers.
  • Build sales pipeline and secure sales growth
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Services to secure growth on existing accounts, and secure an account team approach
  • Collaborate closely with commercial team to secure that customer deals are profitable
  • Together with Sales Manager set and reach ambitious targets for own customer portfolio
  • Secure full compliance with CTI-Maritec sales governance for own portfolio
  • Ensure accurate and updated information on own accounts in Salesforce
  • Contract management, make sure accounts adhere to all terms, including credit
  • Develop sales plans for own client portfolio
  • Work closely with the Commercial team to increase sales and develop strong customer relationships
  • Secure multilevel entry points with own accounts
  • Implement and follow up on campaigns/offers
  • Collaborate closely with the Credit team, monitoring and taking corrective actions when needed
  • Responsible for ensuring all client accounts have credit approval limits in place in accordance with the Credit Policy and DLA.
  • Responsible for credit collections and credit risk management related to client portfolio.
  • Ensure accurate and updated information of all client accounts into Salesforce including visit reports, opportunities, projects, feedbacks/compliments etc.
  • In-charge of client satisfaction
  • Assist marketing including email marketing, seminar/workshop/webinar/exhibition
  • Any other administration work required by management and able to travel

  • Agreed sales targets
  • Designated Accounts sales growth

  • Customer face time (Sales calls)
  • Compliance with CTI-Maritec Sales Governance
  • Total Accounts Receivable and Customer Credit Time
  • Customer credit exposure against credit exposure approval limits
  • Overdue debt percentage


Qualifications

  • Diploma, Lack of formal education can be compensated by relevant experience.
  • Preferably international sales experience in Maritime industry
  • Experience from negotiating with customers
  • Proven communication skills and Experience in negotiation skills and proven track record of establishing and maintaining relationships with customers
  • Ambitious and a strong desire for success with a commercial mind-set
  • Ability to work independently by planning and organizing own sales work
  • Able to meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities
  • Highly structured and Results oriented
  • Good time management & allocation of priorities
  • IT literate, with experience from working with Excel, MS office, CRM systems, business/data analysis
