Event Assistant

Job Description
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including corporate meetings, conferences, launches, and etc.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and preferences, ensuring a personalized and tailored experience.
- Work closely with the event manager and team to develop event concepts, themes, and logistics.
- Research and negotiate with vendors to secure venues, catering, entertainment, and other event-related services within budget allocated.
- Create and manage event timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule.
- Take detailed meeting notes and maintain organized event documents, and promptly share them with the team.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth event setup, execution, and breakdown.
- Assist in the preparation of event materials, signage, and promotional collateral.
- Attend events to provide on-site support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure everything runs smoothly.
Job Requirements
- 'Can do' work attitude and proactive, positive individuals preferred.
- Strong communication and human relations skills.
- Understanding the media industry, including its trends and key players, is beneficial for aligning events with company goals.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage numerous event details for smooth execution and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility and quick adaptability are valuable traits in handling unexpected changes or challenges during events.
- Minimum Diploma in event management, public relations, communications, or a related field is often preferred.
- Fresh graduate candidates are welcome
- Can start work immediately.
- Able to communicate in English and Mandarin as one is required to liaise with Mandarin speaking.
