Roles & Responsibilities

The Buddhist College of Singapore (BCS), an institution nurturing the future Buddhist leaders, is founded to meet the needs of the Buddhist community and serve all mankind. The role, under Administration Office, is responsible for the administrative matters of student monks studying under the college.


Duties and Responsibilities

· Source and purchase textbooks, reference books & academic journals for the college

· Liaise with external vendors and contractors for facility maintenance works

· Coordinate logistic and administrative matters for the college (e.g. student pass application etc.)

· Facilitate events/activities organized for student monks (e.g. overseas graduation ceremony etc.)

· Assist with document translation

· Assist with the monastery events/activities when required


Job Specifications

· Qualification: Min. Diploma in any discipline

· Years of Experience: 3 years of administrative work experience

· Language(s): Bilingual in English and Mandarin communicate with both English and Mandarin-speaking associates

· Required Knowledge/Skill(s): Proficient in MS Office, Effective communication and interpersonal skills, Good coordination skills, Possess basic Buddhism knowledge

· Ability to multi-task and a team player with positive work attitude

· Willing to serve for the advancement of Buddhism

· Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license

· Able to travel overseas when required
