Our client is a leading MNC in the shipping industry. It is based in town and offers some WFH arrangement.

Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated sales exec support specialist to join the firm's global Marketing/Business Development department. This role involves providing hands-on support to the team, including data analysis, customer meetings, and troubleshooting contractual disputes with the key account customers. For a successful candidate, you should have strong analytical skills with excellent communication skills.

We are also seeking for a self motivated professional who is also a fast learner with strong problem- solving skills.

Reporting to the BD manager, you will cover the following

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data analysis of clients' business performances;
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders;
  • Provides support in contractual matters including tender processes, financial reconciliation and dispute resolution;
  • Assist in organising internal and external stakeholders meetings;
  • Participate in customer meetings to understand their requirements and report to internal stakeholders;
  • Document internal and external meetings outcome and follow up action items;
  • Provide general administrative support to members within the team; and
  • Perform any other adhoc duties as assigned by Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Maritime Studies, or similar specialization from a recognized university;
  • Has 1 to 3 years of sales support experience with some relevant experience supporting the business development/marketing team
  • Some prior experience preparing data analysis of clients' business performance is beneficial
  • That said, strong fresh graduates with a business management/ maritime studies degree are welcomed.
  • Proficient in MS office suites (Word, PowerPoint, BI and Excel);
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels;
  • Detailed oriented and meticulous;
  • Strong analytical and possess problem solving skills;
  • Resourceful, proactive and independent;
  • Good team player and a relatively fast learner
  • Proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written.
