Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

· Maintain and updates all traditional and contemporary internal and public communication platforms (websites, social media, EDM, notice boards, Facebook);

· Serve as Primary Editor for all Lodge content;

· Manage and coordinate with multiple parties, both internal and external;

· Manage and coordinate with multiple parties, both internal and external, in consolidating content/ information for in-house newspaper publication;

· Handle public relations matters and be involve in Lodge activities;

· Provide graphic design using Adobe Photoshop to produce advertising materials, events posters, banners stage backdrop, invitation cards, brochures, name cards design and printing.

· Edit and write a variety of materials including presentations, press releases, website articles, brochures copy, formal reports, memos, notices and other documents as and when is required.

· Handle media related matters, send press invites, prepare media kits, liaise and build good rapport with journalists, coordinate media interview request and attend to media enquiries.

· Handle and arrange during and after events photos, videos and other multi- media resources.

· Handle external feedbacks and complaints from various channels including emails, letters, walk-in customer and social media.

· Prepare emcee scripts and speeches in Chinese language (require communicating with mandarin speaking media and associates).

· Assists in documents translations as and when require.

· Assists in Dharma classes, talks and / or group practices etc. as assigned.

· Other duties, ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

· Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or its equivalent in related disciplines with at least 3 years of similar experience

· Excellent communications skills (both written and oral) in English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates)

· Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills

· Versatile and independent with positive working attitude

· Well organise and able to work independently on assigned projects and creativity in problem solving

· Candidates with experience in non-profits charitable organisation will be an added advantage

· Able to work on weekends, flexible to work occasional public h0lidays and evenings when the need arises
