We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Engineering Admin Assistant to support our engineering team. The ideal candidate will handle administrative tasks, assist with project coordination, and ensure the smooth operation of the engineering department.

Job Description:

  • Provide administrative support to the engineering team, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and managing correspondence.
  • Assist with project coordination, including tracking project progress, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Handle data entry and maintain accurate records in databases and spreadsheets.
  • Coordinate with other departments to facilitate communication and workflow.
  • Manage and organize files, both electronic and physical, to ensure easy access and retrieval of information.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed.
  • Support the procurement process by managing purchase orders, tracking inventory, and liaising with suppliers.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the engineering team.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or related fields are a plus.
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in an engineering or technical environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of engineering terminology and processes.
  • Experience with procurement and inventory management.
