Job Description

Lean Operating System (OS) Framework

  • Design, implement and sustain the Lean Operating System Framework
  • Oversee and drive all aspects of the Lean Operating System strategies, policies and reporting, initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment, compliance and drive the ccontinuous Improvement culture
  • Review the Framework regularly to ensure alignment with the business strategy and context sensitive to the organisation maturity
  • Establish long-term plans to ensure Lean initiatives continue to generate value over time

OS Maturity Assessment Framework and Business Vertical/ Function Engagement

  • Engage functional Subject Matter Experts to develop the standards and tools to implement the Lean Operating System and operations risk requirements
  • Collaborate with business vertical QSSRL representatives to strengthen the Lean and Risk culture and applications of the Framework standards
  • Maintain Framework training needs and compliance blueprint including content creation and delivery for relevant courses to ensure company-wide adoption and understanding, and conducting verifications, assessment and inspections
  • Support the development of bench strength by identifying, training, and mentoring employees for key Lean roles, ensuring a strong pipeline of skilled talent

Operations Risk, Deviation Management & Project Management

  • Lead and collaborate with business functions to identify and evaluate operations risk and control adequacy and effectiveness to drive proactive risk management and monitor adherence through key risk indicators
  • Identify and address deviations from established standards, and work with stakeholders to implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence
  • Maintain SQCDP performance dashboards and Level 1,2,3 operations risk dashboard to provide a risk profile of the various levels
  • Facilitate Kaizen events identified from enterprise VSM bursts and drive process improvements/solutions
  • Lead & manage the project scope, schedule, milestones, escalation and cost for whole function with success measurements for projects assigned by VP or defined by analysis

Reporting and Communication

  • Coordinate roll up of improvement projects and Kaizen events to transform the business
  • Prepare and present reports to Senior Leadership Team and Board on Lean Operating System effectiveness, Maturity - - Assessments, highlighting actions to address gaps and opportunities for improvements
  • Collaborate with business functions stakeholders, including Senior Leadership Team for monitoring and adherence to operations risk and SQCDP indicators for reporting, and to ensure that actions are meeting the intent and at the required pace

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree holder in any field with engineering preferred
  • Min. 10 years working experience in Lean, Operational Excellence, Business Improvement, Continuous Improvement or related field
  • Certification in Lean Management (Master Black Belt or actively pursuing Master Black Belt Certification)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Forms)
  • Experience in Microsoft Power Platforms (e.g. PowerBI, PowerAutomate) is preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and pivot as necessary based on changing business needs
  • Strategic thinker with expert understanding of risks, controls and applications of Lean Tools
  • Expert understanding and application of lean operating system with a focus on solutioning and maturing of framework
  • Strong sense of accountability, with the ability to take ownership of projects and deliver measurable results that align with business objectives
  • Good stakeholder management, facilitation and influencing skills to encourage buy-in and drive participations in continuous improvement initiatives / programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
