Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Evaporation Coating Engineer to join our dynamic team working on the cutting-edge development of perovskite solar modules. The role will focus on thin-film deposition processes using evaporation techniques, ensuring the high performance, stability, and scalability of perovskite solar technologies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in evaporation coating, vacuum science, and thin-film characterization, along with a strong background in material science or a related field.


Key Responsibilities:

Operate and optimize evaporation systems for the deposition of organic and inorganic materials used in perovskite solar cells and modules.

Develop and refine vacuum evaporation processes, including thermal evaporation and electron-beam evaporation, to meet performance and reliability goals.

Characterize thin films using tools such as spectrophotometers, atomic force microscopy (AFM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and ellipsometry to ensure uniformityand desired properties.

Collaborate with the R&D team to integrate evaporation coatings into scalable manufacturing processes for perovskite solar modules.

Design experiments and analyze data to improve deposition techniques, layer quality, and adhesion.

Troubleshoot and maintain vacuum coating systems, including vacuum pumps, deposition chambers, and thermal sources.

Work with external vendors to source materials, equipment, and components needed for evaporation coating processes.

Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings, process improvements, and recommendations.

Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related Engineering discipline.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in thin-film evaporation processes, preferably in solar cell or optoelectronic applications.

Strong knowledge of perovskite materials and their application in solar cells is a plus.

Hands-on experience with vacuum science, including system operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Proficiency in thin-film characterization techniques and equipment.

Experience with process optimization and statistical analysis methods.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team environment.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.


Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with perovskite solar cell manufacturing and encapsulation processes.

Experience with large-area evaporation deposition techniques.

Knowledge of scaling lab-based processes for industrial manufacturing.
