The Senior Executive is required to support the LKCMedicineResearch Administration and Support Services Office in the area ofgrant reimbursement/claims/billings. He/she is expected to liaiseand work closely with the School'sFinance.

Responsibilities:

Reimbursementclaims
  • Prepare reimbursement claimsform for competitive grants
  • Prepare invoicesfor the recovery of project authorized expenditure from fundingagencies and liaise on any clarifications ofexpenditure
  • Monitor manpower transfer amongstresearch accounts
  • Preparing and consolidatingof supportingdocuments


Cashflowprojections
  • Prepare cashflowprojections and budget drawdown for competitive grants forsubmission to fundingagency


Billing, invoicingand payment
  • Maintain and updatedatabase of awarded industry projects and industryrevenue
  • Manage industry grants and preparebillings
  • Close tracking and monitoring ofpayment schedules
  • Raising invoices and claimsto industry partners


Grantcertification audit and othermatters
  • Manage and respond to auditand finance queries
  • Close research projectaccounts in the research system
  • Prepare regularmanagement reporting
  • Any other ad-hoc dutiesassigned time totime


Requirements:
  • Bachelor'sdegree in Finance, Accountancy or BusinessAdministration
  • Background in claims andresearch administration is an addedadvantage
  • Preferably 2 years of related workingexperience in research administration or finance work but freshgraduates are welcome to apply
  • Well-versed inMicrosoft Office Excel applications
  • Meticulous,Team-player and able to workindependently
