Admissions Counsellor

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Admissions Counsellor (Japanese speaking) to join our team. The Admissions Counsellor e plays a crucial role in managing the enrollment process for prospective students. This position focuses on guiding families through the admissions journey, ensuring a smooth and positive experience while meeting enrolment targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the collection and review of application materials to ensure they are complete and accurate.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to streamline the application evaluation process.
- Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective students and their families via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Maintain ongoing communication with prospective students and families, providing necessary updates and information.
- Distribute enrolment materials, such as brochures and prospectuses.
- Keep accurate records of all inquiries, applications, and enrolments in the admissions database.
- Assist in organising and executing admissions events, including open houses and coffee mornings.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to prospective families, addressing their questions and concerns promptly.
- Conduct informational sessions and campus tours to highlight the school's offerings.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in organisations with demanding processing needs.
- Preferably experienced in Admissions within an International School setting.
- Background in tasks that are methodical and require a high level of accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds, with a specialized focus on Japanese families.
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Priority will be given to those who can start immediately.
