Roles & Responsibilities


We are looking for a DevOps Database Administrator to manage and optimise high-performance databases supporting a fast-paced trading environment. This role involves ensuring reliability, security, and scalability while automating operations and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL, Aurora, ClickHouse, and ScyllaDBdatabases.
  • Optimise database performance, scalability, and availability in a production environment.
  • Implement backup, recovery, security measures, and system upgrades.
  • Automate database operations using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles.
  • Collaborate with engineers to improve monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response.

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, Aurora, ClickHouse, and ScyllaDB.
  • Experience with AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of Linux, networking, and database security.
  • Familiarity with GitOps workflows (ArgoCD experience is a plus).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-moving, technical environment.
