Roles & Responsibilities

Location: Jurong West Primary School, 30 Jurong West Street 61, Singapore 648368
Duration: 1 April 2025 – 30 June 2026
Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (inclusive of 30-45 minutes lunch break). Services are not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays. Up to 4 working Saturdays per year may be required, with off-in-lieu provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. ICT Curriculum Support:
  • Assist in the implementation of the 6-year ICT curriculum for students.
  • Provide in-class support for ICT-integrated programs and assist teachers in conducting ICT lessons.
  • Support teachers in the development of resources for the school portal.
  1. Device Management:
  • Manage ICT computing devices, including tracking and documenting loans to students.
  • Conduct inventory updates and stock-taking during term breaks.
  1. Event Support:
  • Oversee and operate AV equipment to provide technical support for school events.
  • Support e-learning events and other ICT-related programs.
  1. Content Management:
  • Manage the school's website and social media platforms (Instagram and Facebook).
  • Design and create multimedia content, such as posters, banners, photography, and videography, as needed.
  1. Administrative Duties:
  • Manage the public messaging system, room bookings, loan/service request system, and Print+ services.
  • Provide multimedia support for teachers and assist in other ICT-related administrative tasks.
  1. Technical Support:
  • Provide support for students and parents using MOE ICT systems.
  • Monitor and document processes related to device loans and returns.
  1. Flexibility in Work Hours:
  • Adjust working hours as required to meet school needs, such as starting earlier or staying later during specific school programs or events.
  • Render service on up to 4 working Saturdays per school year for events like Meet-the-Parents Sessions.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Educational Qualification:
    Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience:
    Up to 1 year of ICT-related working experience in a school environment.
  • Technical Skills:
    Proficient in MS Office.
    Proficiency in multimedia software, including Final Cut Pro for video editing.
    Experienced in managing social media platforms (Instagram and Facebook).
