Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support cabling projects and IT Infra projects across multiple job sites. The ideal candidate will assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing the execution of structured cabling installations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. This role requires frequent visits to job sites to monitor progress, resolve issues, and coordinate with project teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing cabling projects, including structured cabling, fiber optics, and network infrastructure installations.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor work progress, enforce safety regulations, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Coordinate with technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely material delivery and project execution.
  • Maintain project documentation, including work schedules, progress reports, and change orders.
  • Support budgeting, cost tracking, and resource allocation to maintain project efficiency.
  • Address on-site challenges by working closely with field personnel to identify solutions.
  • Communicate with clients, providing updates on project status and addressing concerns proactively.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and company quality control guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience in structured cabling, telecommunications, or network infrastructure projects preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project plans.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and project management software.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to job sites.

Education & Experience:

  • ITE or Diploma in Project Management, Construction Management, IT, Telecommunications, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role.

Work Environment:

  • Combination of office and fieldwork.
