Roles & Responsibilities


Job Description:


Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute the communication plans for events, craft suitable communication materials and ensure that the tone, messaging and visuals used are appropriate and effective for engaging diverse groups of officers across AGC and the Legal Service.

• Manage the RSVP and seating plan for events.

• Plan for and coordinate with different stakeholders to produce (including filming and editing) the Town Hall showcase segment videos.

• Conduct After Action Reviews, analyse feedback and identify areas to improve.

• Supporting the team with administrative matters, e.g.

o Setting up meetings and booking meeting room resources

o Writing simple procurement papers

o Managing the team’s email account and sending periodic EDM blasts

• Provide support for ad-hoc events, activities, and initiatives which the team may undertake.

• Support the team in organising events such as Town Hall, National Day Observance Ceremony, Public Service Observance Ceremony/Public Service Week, Heritage activities in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.

• Support efforts to plan and organise retreats and workshops.

• Support the team with the planning and coordination of post-EES (Employee Engagement Survey) interventions for all divisions.


Job requirements

A relevant university degree, preferably with experience in:

• Competitive business intelligence or similar analytical or consulting work

• Customer Relationship Management and/or Customer Experience

• Events planning/management


A minimum of 2-3 years’ work experience is preferred. Fresh graduates may be considered as well, if they demonstrate requisite experience, e.g. in conducting market research/analysis work, events management or have completed relevant project work.


Other skillsets:

• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot table, vlookup)

• Intermediate to advanced Word skills (e.g. mail merge)


Personal qualities:

• Detail-oriented

• Goal-oriented; thinking with the end in mind

• Good time management skills

• Good communication skills; clear and succinct communication style (spoken and written)

• Good interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders across all levels

• Adaptable and resourceful

The Contract Period:

4 months 3 weeks only


Salary:

Up to $3,200 (Depending on qualification & working experience)
