Job Description:

  • Assist Head Nurse in daily Operations of TCF
  • Ensure smooth daily operation flow and to assist in daily operations being assigned by the Head Nurse or Management
  • Participate in continuos quality improvement process
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines, facility policies, and best practices to ensure the delivery of safe and effective care
  • Collaborate with different individuals including doctors, nurses, patients, families, support staff
  • Provide ongoing education and training to nursing staff to keep them updated on the latest practices, procedures, and protocols
  • Posses leadership skill in bringing the team to work towards the corporate's objectives
  • Safeguard confidential files, records, and documents while upholding resident confidentiality
  • Maintain productive working relationships within the Nursing Department and with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage an inventory of ward equipment, ensuring regular maintenance.
  • Provide support to the Head Nurse in facility management and act as a deputy in her absence.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Registered with Singapore Nursing Board
  • Possess a recognised Degree or Diploma in Nursing
  • Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Preference will be given to candidates with community nursing experience and a robust clinical background in Hospitals, Transitional Care Facilities, Nursing Homes, or Day Care Centres
  • At least 3 years of clinical management experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and compliance standards.
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, with positive work attitude and strong commitment towards service excellence
  • Ability to work in a team and in a fast pace environment
  • Willing to work shifts, on weekends and public holidays
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
