Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

  • Responsible for administering the full spectrum of finance & accounting functions and maintaining the full set of accounts;
  • Work collaboratively within the Finance & Admin team to see to proper month-end closing and reporting;
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial and management reporting of firm’s monthly results;
  • Support audit requirements by preparing reconciliations and liaising with external auditors (to ensure full compliance);
  • Manage bill postings and credit control activities in a timely fashion;
  • Handle GST and other submissions;
  • Monthly budget and cash flow reporting;
  • Providing support in all administrative tasks;
  • Conducting all necessary searches;
  • Uploading of client & case details into File Management System;
  • Opening, locating and archiving of files;
  • Prepare reports and accounting of daily file count, monthly referral reports and monthly staff sales.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Accounting or equivalent;
  • Advanced MS Office skills- proficient in MS Excel & Word a must;
  • Knowledge of Tessaract Practice Management System is an advantage;
  • Must have good interpersonal, strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong problem solving skills;
  • Must have initiative and adaptable to changes;
  • A proactive person with positive attitude;
  • Ability to multi-task and work as a team;
  • Able to work independently and have strong attention to details;
  • Experience in a law firm would be an advantage;
  • Immediate availability or can start work within short notice period is an advantage;
