Job Summary:
As an Accounts Executive, you will play a vital role in the accounting team, handling general accounting tasks such as revenue accounting, payable processing, billings, and monthly management reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Closing: Interface daily data from AIMS to the Accounting System.
- Accurate Recording: Ensure all invoicing, journal, and receipting entries are correctly recorded for month-end closing.
- Invoice Follow-up: Monitor outstanding invoices and resolve payment disputes.
- Accounts Payable: Manage the Accounts Payable Module.
- Fixed Assets: Generate monthly Fixed Assets Interface and maintain the Fixed Assets Module.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations.
- Guarantees: Prepare banker's guarantees applications.
- Reporting: Prepare management reports.
- GST Reporting: Handle quarterly GST reporting.
- Tax and Audit Queries: Respond to tax and audit queries.
- Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform other assigned accounting duties.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite)
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Note: This position is a maternity cover for a duration of 6 months.
