S3 aims to provide the best quality of post-stroke care in the community so that our clients and their families are able to rebuild their lives after stroke. Beyond rehab, the Wellness Team plays a critical role in this continuum of care by creating a safe and supportive environment for stroke survivors and their families to enhance their physical, mental, social, and emotional health.


The Executive, Wellness & Community Health, will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of (a) S3’s Wellness Programme, (b) S3 Membership for Stroke Survivors, and (c) as well as ensuring the smooth coordination and management of volunteers.

Wellness Programme Role

The Executive will work independently with service providers and internal stakeholders such as the therapy and social work team, to curate, plan, and coordinate impactful programmes and events, and provide a seamless onboarding experience for clients/caregivers to the Wellness Programme. He/she is essential in supporting the Wellness Programmes and to handle day-to-day implementation of administrative and operational duties in order to create the desired positive impact and success that our programme aims to achieve.

  • Curate, plan, and coordinate the schedule of both on-site and virtual Wellness sessions and events for Wellness clients.
  • Manage the recruitment and onboarding of S3 members and wellness clients and caregivers.
  • Acts as the point of contact for clients and caregivers to provide advice, problem solve and facilitate the resolution to any issues with regards to the Wellness Programme
  • Observe clients and caregivers during sessions to ensure safety and well-being.
  • Intervene to provide support to clients and caregivers where necessary, and activate escalation procedures if needed
  • Train and work with volunteers who can provide support during the Wellness sessions.
  • Develop and programme suitable activities for each domain of Wellness e.g. Physical, Cognitive, Social, Learning, Events etc
  • Work with stakeholders to adapt activities and programmes to the needs of clients and the environment.
  • Sources and liaise with service providers on services for clients and caregivers
  • Prepares paperwork including but not limited to onboarding recruitment, surveys, and programme reports.
  • Assists to develop programme effectiveness surveys, compiles, and analyses the results and prepares reports as required.
  • Organises and coordinates the logistics for programmes and events.

Volunteer Coordination and Management

  • S3’s Volunteer development programme is a critical enabler service that helps S3 to run our Wellness Programme, group therapy, outreach, and events.
  • The Executive will also play a key supporting role in the coordination and matching of volunteers to support the Wellness programme and events, and work with relevant internal and external stakeholders as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimally diploma in any discipline.
  • Diploma in Social Science or Healthcare related course would be advantageous.
  • Meticulous and organized.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, possessing good stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent project management and events coordination skills.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office applications experience will be advantageous.
