Job Description

IT Design, Strategy and Planning:

Design and lead the organisation's IT direction, strategy and road-map in alignment with overall business goalsWork as part of the Senior Leadership Team to identify opportunities to harness technology to drive business processes, improve efficiency and drive innovationDesign and implement IT policies, standards and procedures across all BU's

Technology Infrastructure, Cloud And Operations
Oversee the design, deployment and maintenance of the IT infrastructure; including networks, servers, storage, and cloud services Ensure the reliability and security of IT systems and services through effective monitoring, maintenance, and disaster recovery planning working closely with CISO teamManage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effective delivery of IT solutions & services

Application Development And Management
Direct the development, implementation, and integration of software applications and platforms to support overall business processes and objectivesEvaluate emerging technologies and trends to unlock opportunities for innovationFoster a culture of continuous improvement and agile development methodologies within the IT organisation

Data Management And Analytics
Oversee the design and implementation of data management and migration strategies, including data governance, quality assurance as well as security.Drive the use of data analytics and business intelligence tools to derive actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making across the organisation

Leadership And Team ManagementLeadership and vision for the IT department, creating a culture of collaboration, innovation and ownershipRecruit, develop and retain top talent, building a high-performing IT team capable of executing the organisation's IT strategyMentor and coach IT staff, providing guidance and support for professional growth and development The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldProven experience (typically 15+ years) in IT leadership roles, with a track record of success in developing and implementing IT strategies that drive business value at scaleStrong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to understand and align technology initiatives with organisational objectivesDeep technical expertise across a range of domains including but not limited to infrastructure, architecture, cloud, applications, cybersecurity and data managementExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersStrong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goalsExperience in managing IT budgets, vendor relationships, and third-party contracts What's on Offer
