As a Boarding Mentor of Singapore Sports School Boarding, you will supervise, nurture, mentor, counsel, and provide the duty of care to your student-athletes. You will provide support to the smooth administration and operations at Boarding and to ensure the overall well-being, safety, health, studies, social-emotional development and discipline of the student-athletes. You will be involved in planning, organising and implementing Boarding programmes, activities and events which aim to enrich the student-athletes' boarding experience. You are required to work from 2pm to 11:30pm on most weekdays, and on alternate Saturday or Sunday.

Requirements

  • Have a positive work attitude, be a good team player and be adaptable to changes
  • Possess good people, administrative, planning and organisational skills
  • Have passion and dedication to work with youths
  • Possess good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Candidates with background in education, counselling, social work, or working with youths in a residential setting will be an advantage. Candidates with other relevant qualifications are welcome to apply.
  • Accommodation will be provided to the successful candidate who must reside in the Boarding School on weekdays. Meals will be provided during school days.
