  • Design & Build | General Building | Civil Engineering

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and prepares all the cost estimates for the tenders especially in Design and Build Project
  • Provide detailed and accurate quantity and component take-offs against the technical drawings, specifications, and scope of work for the Bill of Quantities
  • Review tender documents / requests for proposals to understand project details and requirements
  • Review and interprets engineering documentation such as drawings / specifications / scope of work to fully understand the project requirements for detailed and accurate estimating
  • Evaluation and comparison of Sub-contractor and Suppliers’ quotations
  • Study and identify discrepancies in tender / contract documents and raise queries for clarifications
  • To provide timely clarifications for ongoing submission within the tender and request for proposal duration
  • To perform cost estimation for tender bids and tender summary for management review
  • Communicate and negotiate competitive rates with Suppliers and Sub-contractors
  • Provide costing data and input into the proposal formats required by the tender documentation
  • Prepare and coordinate all documentation including method statements and other submissions

Requirements:

  • Diploma and/or Degree above in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • Experienced in local tendering and estimation
