Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for managing the entire Facilities Operations and Maintenance which includes Mechanical, Electrical systems and Building Services in Singapore. He also responsible for planning, executing projects, Production Tool installation, De-installation, Relocation activities and to provide technical support related to Facilities Systems to meet the current and future requirements, track the performance of the system to ensure safe and efficient operation which meet the Local Authority regulations and requirements. The person will be a decision maker who meets the challenges of daily involvement to Facilities system operation and maintenance program.

What You Will Do:

· Responsible for ensuring plant utilities are delivered to the end users at the required specification in a safe manner.

· Provide cost estimates and manage production tool install/de-install, relocation activities and ensure all the agreed scope of works are executed in a safe manner, in compliance to all the local regulations and requirements.

· Manage Building Services team and contractors in Building inspection, maintenance & repair works, General Waste Management and Janitorial Services in the plant.

· Set goals, establish KPIs and oversee improvement program to minimize downtime and improve quality of service provided to Manufacturing and various stakeholders.

· Review Facilities systems and optimize system capacity of existing base-build equipment to enhance efficiency and reduce wastes/leakages.

· Support production scenario fit-up cost studies and develop business Cases to justify CAPEX- requests.

· Specify and review Operations & Maintenance standards, SOPs and maintain Facilities system documents to ensure complying to local regulations, corporate and customer requirements and readiness for the audits.

· Establish and execute maintenance schedule as per defined system preventive maintenance frequency based on OEM recommendation or as per industrial best practices.

· Provide value engineering in enhancing the maintenance program to bring about a reduction in maintenance cost; prolong system life cycle; predictive maintenance; energy; water savings.

· Lead the development and maintenance of effective relationship with relevant government agencies, regulatory bodies and the community.

· Participate in facilities system project kick off meeting and project progress meeting in ensuring the system design caters for the maintenance needs.

· Identify gaps/opportunities; establish action plans and programs as part of the continuous improvement effort .

· Support and follow through on Facility audits by customers, external auditors, government agencies and Insurance underwriters.

· Evaluate work performance of the contractors.

What You Will Bring (Required Qualifications):

· Good knowledge in relevant Code of Practice, AUTOCAD drawings and Project Management.

· Excellent Team player, adaptable, organized, highly motivated and analytical.

· Good in communication, interpersonal skills and able to work with minimum supervision.

· Good computer knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Words, Power point, Outlook)

· Anticipate upcoming changes/challenges and motivate/prepare team for the challenges; Develop them to achieve their fullest potential/growth.

Education (Minimum Level)

· Bachelor's

Field of Study

Mechanical/ Electrical or any other engineering discipline

Years of Experience (Minimum)

· 7 - 9 years
