Roles & Responsibilities

Job Purpose

  • Work closely with the Director (PD) in developing AHL strategic partnership and sponsorship initiatives.
  • Secure donations and sponsorships for the company, festivals and programmes
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors and partners.
  • Work closely with the teams in AHL to identify and develop strong, mutually beneficial relationships with organizations or individuals that have strategically compatible areas of expertise.

Duties and Responsibilities


Partnership Development

  • Prepare yearly fundraising strategy for AHL that aligns with AHL’s branding and ethics guidelines, whilst consulting with various departments to establish appropriate strategy.
  • Research and identify prospects to support AHL by leveraging the various programmes and festivals.
  • Work with Director (PD) to develop and implement fundraising initiatives to generate and achieve revenue targets.
  • Secure donations, sponsorships and grants to achieve targets.
  • Manage and administer Donor Management System.
  • Manage the Adopt a Seat programme including new reiterations.
  • Research for Grant and Funding applications and to develop proposals for submissions to grant bodies and sponsors.

Relationship Management

  • Establish a Stewardship plan to cultivate and maintain a productive relationship with our patrons.
  • Stewardship and fulfilment of donor benefits and recognition in a timely manner.
  • Work with Director (PD) to develop engagement and growth strategy for current donors that will result in renewal opportunities for AHL.
  • Manage timely Reports to funders and sponsors.

Stakeholders Engagement

  • Build collaborations with internal AHL stakeholders and external stakeholders (donors, sponsors, partners, funders, government agencies)

Financial Planning and Budget Management

  • Assist the Director (Partnership Development) to plan, manage and monitor department's Budget to ensure cost effectiveness.

Administration

  • Manage and monitor AHL Support Us pages in corporate website and patrons listing, including Giving.sg.
  • Manage Patron of the Arts programme and ensure timely nominations and liaison with NAC
  • Contract and Payment Management. Ensure internal SOPs are adopted and adhered to
  • To carry out and assume any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by the Director (PD)


Requirements


1. Educational qualifications

  • Degrees in Business, Marketing, Communications or the Arts

2. Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience [in a management capacity as a senior manager] in Fundraising preferably in the Arts, Social Service, Charity and Events and Entertainment

3. Specific skills required.

  • Demonstrated success in strategic planning, proposal development and in the identification, solicitation and closing of sponsorships and business deals.
  • Proven Experience in Fundraising and Partnership roles
  • Strategic and Creative Thinker with analytical skills
  • Leadership quality and an Effective Communicator
  • Self-motivated with the ability to problem solve and make decisions independently
  • Collaborator mindset and customer-oriented
  • Excellent Project and Time management skills
