Job Description- Prepare, examine and analyse accounting records and financial statements.
- Ensure financial reporting is accurate and meets regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies.
- Conduct regular audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting.
- Support and ensure compliance with all statutory finance and tax filing requirements
- Liaise with statutory bodies, banks, and other third-party business partners
- Manage and mentor members of the finance team.
- Assist in new process implementations and accounting system upgrades.
A successful Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant Accounting background in hospitality industries
- Familiarity with hospitality practices will be beneficial
- Good understanding in inter-company transactions
- Able to meet with a strict reporting deadline.
- Good team player, self-discipline, meticulous, attentive, committed, and able to work independently.
