As aBackend Software Engineer on the TikTok Privacy and Security team,you will:

• Design, build, and maintain systemsthat enhance privacy across the TikTok;

• Workwith engineering and product teams to ensure that TikTok iscompliant with privacy laws and regulations from a technicalperspective;

• Respond to privacy incidents, ifthey occur, including collecting information on scope and rootcause as well as managingremediation.

Qualifications

•BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or equivalentmajors;

• Experienced in building backendservices for large-scale consumer-facingapplications;

• Proficiency in at least one ofthe following languages: Go, C++, Python,Java;

• Deep understanding of computerarchitectures, data structures and algorithms;

•Good team communication and collaborationskills.

PreferredQualifications:

• Industry experience developingand implementing privacy features andsolutions.
