Roles & Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Training Specialist to join our team in Singapore. The Training Specialist will play a crucial role in developing and delivering training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, training delivery, and employee development.


Job Descriptions:

  • Collaborate with department heads and HR to assess training needs and develop training plans aligned with organizational objectives
  • Design, develop, and update training materials, including presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, and other resources
  • Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions using a variety of instructional techniques and formats, both in-person and virtually
  • Facilitate training workshops on topics such as onboarding, soft skills development, technical skills, compliance, and leadership
  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and participant registration
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, and make improvements as necessary
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and support to employees to reinforce learning and skill development
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new training methods to enhance the quality and relevance of training programs
  • Collaborate with external training vendors or consultants as needed to supplement internal training initiatives
  • Maintain training records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Assist in the development and implementation of learning management systems (LMS) or other training technology solutions
  • Strong understanding of skill matrix and skill inventories
  • Support other HR initiatives and projects as required


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in training and development, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and training methodologies
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate)
  • Ability to adapt training content and delivery methods to meet the needs of diverse audiences
  • Experience in project management, including planning, execution, and evaluation of training initiatives
