Job Description

- Attend and assist manager in liaise with designers, classification and flag statutory on engineering issues in design and construction stage.

- Liaise with designer/classification society/vendors/construction team/Shipbuilder for detailed requirements for assigned new built or conversion projects.

- Defining technical specifications and review the submissions from various vendors.

- Liaise with vendors, ensure equipment specification meet client, class and customer requirements.

- Refine the design and drawings as per supervisor’s instructions to meet client, class and customer requirement, in areas of general arrangement, structure, life saving, fire fighting, and navigation.


Requirements

- Minimum Degree in Engineering or related field.

- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.

- Designer/shipyard project management / shipyard engineering/Classification society relevant working experience

- Good to have marine electrical, automation and digitalization experience.

- Possesses positive working attitude.

- Able to multi-task, and manage a few projects at the same time

- Able to work independently without closely monitoring

- Possesses self-motivation and determination

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel and PowerPoint & Outlook.

- Proficient in AutoCAD or similar software

- Singapore PR / Citizen is preferred.
