Position Summary

As an Immigration Consultant at Homeland Shires, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through Singapore's PR and citizenship application processes. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, external stakeholders (such as charity organizations), and clients to ensure a smooth, transparent, and efficient immigration experience. This position also requires involvement in business development activities to expand our client base and maintain our industry-leading reputation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Client Liaison & Advisory
    • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, offering personalized immigration advisory services.
    • Assess client eligibility and provide clear, detailed guidance on Singapore PR and citizenship requirements.
    • Maintain ongoing communication to keep clients informed about application status and next steps.
  2. Immigration Application Management
    • Prepare and review all required documentation for Singapore PR and citizenship applications.
    • Utilize your knowledge of Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) policies and procedures to ensure all applications meet the necessary criteria.
    • Leverage your ICA background and expertise to develop robust application strategies, increasing the likelihood of successful applications.
    • Monitor application progress, address any issues or requests from authorities, and provide timely updates to clients and management.
  3. Collaboration with Charity Organizations
    • Identify and collaborate with relevant charity organizations on behalf of clients who seek philanthropic or community engagement opportunities.
    • Coordinate events or donation processes, ensuring all activities comply with local regulations and client interests.
  4. Business Development Support
    • Assist in developing strategies to attract new clients and maintain strong relationships with existing clientele.
    • Contribute to marketing initiatives, networking events, and other business development efforts that showcase Homeland Shires' comprehensive services.
    • Work alongside the Managing Directors to identify new service offerings or partnerships that align with client needs.
  5. Internal Coordination & Reporting
    • Work closely with the Managing Directors (e.g., company incorporation, property services) to ensure a seamless, one-stop client experience.
    • Prepare regular reports on client progress, application outcomes, and other key metrics for the Managing Directors.
    • Ensure all client data is accurately recorded and updated in the firm's systems.
  6. Compliance & Best Practices
    • Stay updated on the latest ICA regulations, industry trends, and best practices to maintain high-quality advisory services.
    • Adhere to all legal and compliance standards in client documentation, communications, and data handling.
Reporting Structure
  • This role reports directly to the two Managing Directors.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with a background in the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) handling immigration applications and approvals (either currently or previously employed). Candidates who were previously employed by ICA must have left no more than 1 year ago to ensure familiarity with the current system.
  • Education: Minimum Diploma or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Skills & Traits:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client liaison.
    • Responsible, responsive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Demonstrated initiative and ownership of tasks.
    • Keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client cases simultaneously.
Work Arrangement
  • Hybrid: Primarily remote with on-site requirements only when meeting with clients at the office.
Compensation
  • Basic Salary + Commission: Commensurate with experience and aligned with performance-based metrics. Further details can be discussed during the interview process.
